The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation is dedicated to helping the Jewish people flourish by supporting programs throughout the world that spread the joy of Jewish living, giving and learning.
In 1987, Lynn Schusterman and her husband, Charles, z”l, established the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation (CLSFF). Headquartered in their home town of Tulsa, Oklahoma, the Foundation’s mission is to help the Jewish people flourish by spreading the joy of Jewish living, giving and learning. CLSFF also supports non-sectarian organizations dedicated to enhancing the quality of life in Tulsa, especially in the areas of education, child development and community service. Through its National Program office in Washington, DC, the Foundation focuses on strengthening the identity of young Jews by providing funding and technical assistance to initiatives that deepen their commitment to Jewish peoplehood and community, promote Jewish service and tikkun olam and enhance their connection to Israel. Israel has always been a focal point of the Schusterman’s philanthropic activity and, in January 2006, Lynn Schusterman established the Schusterman Foundation – Israel (SFI), a Jerusalem-based philanthropy which supports a range of Israeli non-profit organizations. With a special emphasis on preventing and responding to child abuse, SFI’s philanthropicc activities also focus on at-risk youth, Jewish pluralism, the environment and the arts.
